1776?
Jerome Powell reminded the world very bluntly this week where the true power lies. Is Donald Trump willing to pick the ultimate fight?
What degree of revolutionary change will the historic Donald Trump 2.0 Presidency prove to usher in? A reporter at a press conference this week with Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell helped expose it all with one very simple, direct question that has provided the perfect opportunity to analyze.
Victoria Guida from POLITICO asked Chairman Powell if he would step down if Donald Trump asked him to and Powell shot back very simply and directly “no.” It was a quick and almost brutal reminder of the deeper levels of control. The Federal Reserve is a private corporation ruled by the largest “too big to fail” banks that happen to control our country’s monetary system. Typical mainstream narratives describe its fuzzy nature as has having both private and public characteristics and that it is not actually owned by anyone, but in reality, its mysterious existence helps it to act like it does, which is a private entity unaccountable to the public and controlled by the elite private banks. In the end, those who control the money supply have the ultimate say on things and the ultimate power.
Will Donald Trump legitimately challenge this supreme Deep State layer? And not just surface level debates such as potentially challenging leadership of the FED but actually challenge its entire existence and concept in the first place? As positive as I am about the potential for change in the coming four years, it is highly unlikely that Mr. Trump will go all the way. Let me explain.
Revolutionary thoughts are in the air. This election has galvanized and unleashed forces not seen in America in several decades.
President Trump will continue to face a barrage of attacks and criticism from whatever is remaining of the “left.” Still, the strongest forces will be coming from the coalition he has put together who will be vocal and hold his feet to the fire. I’m not sure if anyone, including Donald Trump himself, is fully aware of the strength and voracity of the forces that have been unleashed with this election. President Trump very wisely put together a broad coalition of groups to help him win in convincing and historic fashion, but the expectations of this coalition are massive. Too much has been said and done for the expectations not to be yuuuge.
It can be argued a coup took place in the United States in the 1960s, with the Deep State loudly and officially taking over control of our government with the assassinations and deep surveillance of the likes of JFK, RFK, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Still, the deeper coup and the moment the people were destined to truly lose complete control of our modern government was when the Federal Reserve was created by an act of Congress in December 1913:

Barack Obama had a golden opportunity to be a truly revolutionary figure in American history. It was when our banking system imploded during the Great Recession. There was never a moment in history when the Deep State monetary controllers were more vulnerable. The global elite banking class was completely up against the ropes and that was the moment we had the opportunity to completely reform the system for the long-term benefit of the American people and the world as well. Infamously, though, Barack Obama--who got into the White House riding big talk of hope and real change--bailed them out completely and shielded them to a degree that even they were surprised. It was widely expected there would be at least some level of actual significant reform--as opposed to nibbling reforms around the edges--but as a result of Obama’s disastrous dropping of the ball on a once in a generation opportunity, the banking class simply moved on and proceeded to double and triple down on business as usual to the point that we are now facing an Everything Bubble that could easily usher in a period much worse than the Great Recession at any moment, but that is for another article.
Donald Trump, even if he does nothing more, will already be considered by many a revolutionary figure. The way I see it, though, there are three potential degrees of revolution, which we will very quickly be able to surmise in the coming weeks how deep the reforms and changes are likely to occur during the next four years.
Level One Revolution:
Given what has already occurred, what has already been said, and the people who have been assembled so far, we will have a level one revolution guaranteed, centered on health issues and some reforms to key government agencies.
This revolutionary level is developing before our eyes. With RFK Jr. in the lead, we will see significant changes to how we think about health care and the health of the population, but especially the health of our children. You can bet reforms and shake-ups will occur with those 3-letter health agencies such as the CDC, FDA, and NIH. Getting chemicals out of our food system and a much stronger emphasis on critically important issues and concepts such as local farming, regenerative agriculture, and the importance of healthy soil is a major and exciting game-changing victory right there. There is also a good chance we will see more stringent controls put in place with the pharmaceutical industry in terms of how things such as vaccines are tested, developed, and marketed to the American people. I could see much greater safe guards being put in place to discourage unconstitutional lockdowns and mandates for any potential future pandemics.
In addition to health care, we will likely see much information and evidence released related to issues such as election interference, centered on how Donald Trump has been treated the past ten years. There will likely be many congressional hearings and some sort of Truth Commission, which leads to some real reforms and safeguards in places such as Secret Service, CIA, FBI, etc., leading to better protections for the American people when it comes to the general issue of domestic spying on Americans and greater protections related to free speech and assembly that scales back overt and blatant government interference.
The other area that will certainly see change is our immigration system and reforms along the border. Thus, no doubt, the numbers of new people crossing the border will be scaled back and there will likely be heavy emphasis on targeting and attempting to eliminate concepts such as sanctuary cities. In terms of “rounding up” illegal immigrants, this is a hard one to visualize. Most likely, we will not see a large scale and highly visual effort. What is likely to occur is a targeted attempt in certain locales conducted by agents as low key as possible. I don’t think you will see massive and openly visible rounding up and marching of undocumented immigrants out of the country. Again, this will all likely be mainly down in the shadows out of the public eye as much as possible.
Another area certainly will be a scaling back of what MAGA-MAHA considers wasteful government spending, perhaps heavily targeting areas such as the Departments of Education and Commerce; the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), etc. It sounds like Elon Musk will be playing a big role in all of this, so you can bet there will be some serious headline-grabbing announcements to come.
Still, with Donald Trump in charge, you will not likely see a scaling back of military spending, where the biggest amount of government waste and inefficiency actually resides, which highlights one of the divides between Trump and Kennedy. If Bobby Kennedy were the one elected President, there would have been a much bigger push to significantly cut back on military spending and the closing of military bases throughout the world. There is little in the rhetoric of Donald Trump to indicate that this will take place. It is one thing to wind down the Ukraine War; it is quite another much bigger effort to actually scale back our massive military-industrial complex.
Level Two Revolution:
This leads into the second level of revolution: shattering the CIA into a thousand pieces, breaking our system of global surveillance, and significantly scaling back our military operations around the world.
We are likely to get a very good sense even before Donald Trump gets inaugurated in January how many inroads are made at this significantly deeper level of change compared to Level One. Who Donald Trump indicates he intends to push to appoint to positions such as the Secretary of Defense will very easily and simply tell us everything we need to know. There have been troubling reports that Trump is considering bringing back swamp creatures such as Mike Pompeo. If people like Mike Pompeo indeed are back in the fold, it will be a clear indication that the Donald Trump revolution will be contained to a Level One revolution. Still, it is possible President Trump underestimates the forces he has helped unleash within his own coalition. Trump would face extremely intense backlash from both elements within his inner circle and the grassroots if he does start to go down this road. The most fascinating developments over the coming weeks will not be the ongoing rhetorical battles between the Republicans and Democrats, but how things play out within this new MAHA-MAGA Trump coalition.
Please see here strong words from the very influential Tucker Carson regarding Mike Pompeo, which perfectly illustrates the powerful revolutionary forces that have been unleashed with this new coalition:
Tucker video link: Here is Trump confidant Tucker Carlson bluntly laying out the problem with Mike Pompeo. Given the influence of people like Tucker Carlson on the national stage now and in this new powerful coalition, it would be very interesting to hear the reaction of the likes of Tucker if indeed Mike Pompeo is elected to the position of Secretary of Defense, as is being rumored. This would be the fastest way for Donald Trump to test his coalition and potentially have a war break out within his ranks.
Important news updated as this Substack article was about to be Published: it appears both Mike Pompeo and Nikki Haley will be kept out of the new administration. This is a very good sign and a cautiously positive signal for a potentially bigger Level Two revolution in the near-term. Of course, plenty of other swamp creatures are still out there that could be elevated to prominent positions, which limits any real lasting change: https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump-says-haley-pompeo-will-not-join-second-administration-2024-11-10/
Within this second revolutionary arena, there are multiple areas. First, we are likely to see positive develops in terms of winding down and finding an acceptable exit strategy for the war in Ukraine. This, in of itself, is a major victory and huge development. What happens in the Middle East is much less clear.
Questions regarding the need or structure of NATO, for example, are likely to intensify. Nevertheless, at the end of the day, no significant radical change is likely to take place regarding our overall global system of control, with the CIA (and all the endless related entities) and current military apparatus largely remaining in place with our foreign policy. To get to this level of change, this new coalition movement will likely need more years and more connections and strength developed at the grassroots. Perhaps this could happen with our next administration in four years, as this may be a bridge that Donald Trump is not willing to cross. In fact, there is little in the way of his rhetoric, unlike Bobby Kennedy, to suggest Donald Trump is committed to and truly believes in significantly altering and challenging our military-industrial complex at a fundamental level. It is one thing to stop the war in Ukraine; it is totally next level to go beyond diverting military funding to the effort in Ukraine and actually significantly scale back funding and make deep reforms in our efforts to be the world’s policeman. Still, it is important to reiterate and make clear that if President Trump is able to wind down the Ukraine war in relatively quick fashion in a way that lowers the temperature for full-scale WW3, that would be a major accomplishment and victory that President Trump would deserve a historic level of thanks and praise for; however, that is a long way from a truly revolutionary way to how The United States funds and conducts itself around the world.
Level Three Revolution:
Fully exploring how the United States conducts itself both domestically and globally at the base fundamental level of ideology and control leads us to a Level Three revolution that would have the potential to be on par with 1776 in terms of historical impact. A full take down of our monetary system and the individuals, families, and entities such as the too-big-too-fail banks that control it would change everything.
We often hear about the Deep State but where does it ultimately come from and who controls it? There are higher powers than the CIA and our military apparatus. It is those that control the system of money, as has always been the case throughout history (still, moral courage and the soul are the ultimate Trump card and the most powerful ideas and matter in the Universe). Legacy global wealth family networks and the banking systems set up to ensure power and control for our global elite in perpetuity via systems such as the Federal Reserve banking system.
The focus and attack that is needed if we truly want to threaten our system of global corporate control, lower the amount of meddling in the affairs of countries throughout the world, and actually alter the way we live our lives is simply by bringing things down to local level affairs. Our current system where domestic American policy is completely dictated by our foreign corporate-controlled policy would be flipped on its head so that domestic policy would actually be dictated by local community needs. This, in a nutshell, is a way to visualize what the ultimate modern American Revolution would entail.
This is the ultimate fight that Donald Trump probably does not want to touch. Even RFK Jr. if he had been elected President might not be willing to go all in here. Nevertheless, the door has been opened and a growing number of people will push for this, especially if the latest version of our everything bubble economy bursts, which could happen at any time. With this new coalition movement and hunger for radical change in our system of governance and how we live our lives, as Patriots throughout the land continue to gather new information and evidence and importantly continue to make important connections with each other, perhaps this will be a fight that is truly begun with the election of our next President in four years. This fight would be a direct, frontal attack on the entire wealthy elite. As good as Donald Trump and the inner circle he has assembled appears to be, would an Elon Musk-type and all the powerful people in the Trump world be willing to jeopardize and put on the line absolutely everything they have built over their entire lives for a potential greater good, which would require a level of uncertainty and a period of chaos that no one could truly predict how it would turn out?
“Ending the FED” and similar truly radical and revolutionary changes would require a level of faith that the American people could pick up the pieces of the ultimate wall being destroyed and completely rebuild our economy and the way we live our lives from the ground up via every conceivable measure in order to create a system of true democracy and small-scale capitalism centered on the local community level, as opposed to everything being dictated at a global scale largely via unaccountable forces under the guise of freedom. It is a legitimately frightening scenario that even the biggest supporters of Ending the FED would have to think twice before actually pulling the trigger. Of course, it would require action from Congress and this is the obvious biggest impediment even if Donald Trump were fully on board. There is little evidence that the required level of support would be there at this time to reform our monetary system. A significant amount of turnover of lawmakers would be needed, not only in Congress, but at the local and state levels. Still, President Trump could throw it out there aggressively during his term to get the concept more fully into the consciousness of the American people and begin the process. An extraordinary amount of work is still needed to get to the point where we can change the central focus of our overall economy away from speculation to one focused on tangible outcomes. Placing a much greater emphasis with our monetary system built off concepts such as the public banking system of North Dakota is required.

In summary, even though we are at the very beginning of the Donald Trump 2.0 era, lots can be surmised from what has already been said and done. My best guess is that the Donald Trump administration will tinker at the early stages of a Level Two revolution in America. This is a great start and will provide the fertile ground for more substantial transformations down the line. Further good news is that the required coalition has been put in place and forces have been unleashed that will no doubt push America to go all in on reforming our system, especially as more and more information and analysis in the general public and the grassroots and beyond grows. There is plenty to look forward to and plenty to keep fighting for in order to fully reclaim our lives and communities in the coming years. No single person can do it all; it will require relentless ongoing network building and initiative creation at the grassroots to force through changes at the top.
